Concerns about WiFi wireless security may be addressed with a new standard, NewsFactor reports.
“Although a number of Wi-Fi security systems have been around for some time, no single one could address all outstanding security issues on its own. But now that the new IEEE 802.1x standard is ready for adoption by thousands of hot spots around the world, IT enterprise managers finally will have a single security umbrella that that can cover all the bases,” it says.
