Employers wanting to use Census 2000 data for affirmative action reporting can get it more easily through a CD-Rom from Peopleclick, the Raleigh-based company says.
Peopleclick bills the Peopleclick Census 2000 CD as the “first to provide automatic conversion tool.”
“Federal contractors have been anxiously awaiting new census data that more accurately reflect today’s workforce,” said Stephen Sasser, president and CEO of Peopleclick. “There is a real concern that affirmative action programs designed to meet the diversity challenges of 1990 will not be relevant to the current workplace.”
The Census Bureau made 2000 data available last December. Peopleclick reformatted and repackaged the data.
