Ultimus, a provider of business process management (BPM) software, is listed in the “Leaders Quadrant” for BPM providers by Gartner, an analyst firm
The “Pure Play BPM 2004 Magic Quadrant” includes companies that “are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market,” Gartner said.
Ultimus, which grew by 50 percent in 2003, has added more than 50 new customers in 2004. It closed on $10 million in venture capital from Advent International earlier this year.
“We could not be more pleased with our placement in Gartner’s BPM Magic Quadrant, as we consider it another confirmation of Ultimus’ leading position in the growing BPM market,” said Rashid Khan, CEO and co-founder of Ultimus, in a statement. “For 10 years we have listened carefully to our customers, and with each release, we have added innovative features and leveraged emerging technologies to create the best BPM product that is increasing the profitability of our customers worldwide.”
