NuMarkets, a provider of consignment services for customers wanting to sell goods on eBay, is coming to the Triangle.

The company announced Thursday that it would open four “NuMarkets Selling and Shipping Centers” in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and Cary.

The first store will open on July 19 at 7041 Old Wake Forest Road, Suite 110, in Raleigh.

NuMarkets will promote, sell and collect fees for goods on eBay. It also will ship goods of all charges.

The chain, which is based in Etowah, TN, charges sellers a flat 30 percent fee to sell goods.

The Triangle franchises will be operated by Melissa Watkins, who is president and CEO of NuMarkets Raleigh-Durham.

“NuMarkets didn’t just copy the idea of eBay drop-off consignment selling and shipping centers – they invented it,” Watkins said in a statement.
