Mi-Co, a developer of digital writing solutions, is opening a new training office in Seattle as the company continues to grow.
“Mi-Co continues to keep Mi-Forms customers as the central focus of our strategic planning and growth initiatives,” said Jim Clary, CEO of Mi-Co, in a statement, “and the first objective of the Seattle office will be to expand the technical support resources available to our user community.”
One of the big targets for Mi-Co’s digital data technology is Microsoft Table PCs. Microsoft is based in Washington state.
David Nakamura, director of quality assurance and technical support, helped establish the office.
Mi-Co has also increased its technical support hotline’s hours to 8 AM EST-8 PM EST.
“Mi-Co’s most recent staff additions in North Carolina have been in the technical support area,” Nakamura said, “and these additions provide the perfect opportunity for Mi-Co to expand our services. Our first priority will be to increase our technical support coverage.
“With additional personnel, Mi-Co plans to establish our west coast training center. I am also excited about the location of this office because it provides us the opportunity to be more directly connected to our west coast based partners such as Microsoft and to our value added resellers serving the area.”
