Dhiraj Narula, an MD, has joined the management team at Quintiles Transnational as medical director for integrated cardiac safety services.
Narula is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist as well as a member of the faculty at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India.
His hiring is part of a drive by Quintiles to expand cardiac-related services.
“The addition of Dr. Narula’s skills, credentials and research experience to our already strong team is especially important for the expansion of our cardiac safety services to meet the growing needs of our customers,” said David Dworaczyk, senior vice president of integrated technologies at Quintiles.
“Quintiles is raising its cardiac safety capabilities to a new level throughout our service continuum, from preclinical testing, Phase I, clinical development, registration and post-marketing safety surveillance.”
