US LEC, which provides telecommunications services across the Southeast and other states, is offering two new integrated high-speed voice, data and Internet services to businesses.

The “Burstable Dedicated Internet” is designed for firms that need occasional very high speeds. It permits “bursts” of traffic only when necessary.

The “Multi-Link FAST Pipe” allows customers to add incremental standard high-speed lines known as DS-1 without having to employ the more expensive, higher capacity DS-3.

“Burstable Dedicated Internet and Multi-Link FAST Pipe are two of the latest products in US LEC’s roll-out of flexible services which allow customers to access incremental bandwidth as they need it to meet their own requirements,” said Jeff Blackey, senior vice president of marketing and business development for US LEC, in a statement. “Customers can now purchase higher speeds and greater bandwidth at more affordable rates.”
