Former Quintiles CEO Joins Qualyst Business Advisory Board

Pamela Kirby, a former chief executive officer at Quintiles Transnational, is one of two people named to the business advisory board for Qualyst.

Kirby has held executive positions at F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Astra AB, and British Biotech plc. She served as global strategic marketing and business development efforts of the Hoffman-La Roche pharmaceutical division.

Also named to the board is Jonathan Gelles, chairman of Burton Advisers. That firm was the financial adviser and placement agent for Qualyst in its Series A fundraising efforts.

Qualyst utilizes technology developed at the School of Pharmacy at UNC Chapel Hill for drug discovery and development.
