TelCove, a provider of premium telecommunications services, is expanding its offerings in Metro Atlanta through Southern Telecom’s fiber network.
TelCove will gain access to a number of major buildings as it expands its fiber “footprint: to more than 200 route miles. The network now includes Gwinnett, DeKalb, Fulton and Cobb Counties.
“We are excited about doing business with TelCove and look forward to helping them grow in the Southeast,” said Ben Easterling business development manager for Southern Telecom, in a statement. “This agreement validates that Southern Telecom’s network reach and the way we do business offers companies, like TelCove, the network connectivity and flexibility to provide competitive service offerings to their customers.”
TelCove provides integrated Internet, Data, and Voice Services and includes Fortune 500 companies as well as government agencies and educational institutions among its clients.
“The arrangement with Southern Telecom allows TelCove to bring fiber to the door of new downtown Atlanta clients and strengthens TelCove’s ability to serve its customers on six existing fiber rings in metro Atlanta, including two unique fiber rings throughout Gwinnett and Dekalb counties,” said David Sutherland, regional vice president for TelCove. “The addition of this fiber ring certainly positions TelCove to be the leading provider in Atlanta of both Metro Area and Intercity Ethernet and private line services over its fiber optic network
