John Chambers, chief executive officer of Cisco, says the firm is beginning to see its investment in Internet telephony pay off. At a conference in Toronto last week, Chambers said Cisco will generate $1 billion in Voice over Internet Protocol telephony in annual sales, but he did not specify a timeframe, NewsFactor reports.
