Misys Healthcare Systems has signed a multi-year contract for a variety of communications services from Sprint.
Sprint will deploy wireless, wireline voice, Internet, and audio conferencing services on a nationwide basis.
In a statement, the companies said Misys plans to eventually expand its data and wireless network to “provide a greater level of support: to its customer base of more than 92,000 physicians, 1,200 hospitals and 600 homecare providers.
Sprint offers a “Solutions for Healthcare” package of connectivity, security and business continuity solutions.
