Christopher Cook, who has more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications, is the new head of worldwide sales and marketing for Hatteras Networks.
Hatteras is a developer of last-mile Ethernet network solutions that enables high-speed delivery of data over existing copper networks.
“Christopher brings to Hatteras Networks an unmatched record in assembling world-class sales organizations and in building the key strategic partnerships necessary for Hatteras Networks to capture the large opportunity that exists for our Metro Ethernet Copper Access Platforms,” said Kevin Sheehan, president and CEO of Hatteras, in a statement.
Cook most recently was senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Polaris Networks. He also has worked for StrataCom, Tridom and Xylan.
