Quellos Private Capital Markets, LP, already has a “fund of funds” and did not hire Sallie Shuping Russell of Intersouth Partners to launch it.

The fund was launched in 2001 by Eugene McDonald, principal and chief investment officer of the firm.
Russell will serve as managing director of the firm, according to McDonald. McDonald was the founding president of Duke Management Company.
