The Piedmont Entrepreneurs Network and Ernst & Young LLP will webcast live the regional “Entrepreneur of the Year Program”.

The event is set for June 17, starting at 7 PM.

The webcast will be available at the PEN website (www.pentriad.org ).

It is the first time a regional E&Y contest has been shown live.

“This is a great use of technology, but more importantly, this is an opportunity for people throughout the Carolinas to see how vibrant our entrepreneurial community really is,” said Rick Wimmer, office managing partner of the Greensboro office. “We at Ernst & Young are proud to align with PEN in this endeavor.”

Greg Frisby, PEN chairman, added: “We get requests daily for information about our Piedmont Triad companies from early, mezzanine and late stage investors and their advisors. This live broadcast through the PEN Portal will be a great vehicle for showcasing both our companies and the surging entrepreneurial growth here.”
