KBI BioPharma, Inc., a contract biopharmaceutical process development, production and technology company, unveiled its new development services laboratories on Monday.

The facilities are part of its 370,000 square foot campus.

The labs also mark the launch of KBI’s biopharmaceutics practice. The practice and labs will be run by Frank Bedu-Addo, vice president of purification operations and biopharmaceutics.

“The practice and laboratories will provide analytical method development and validation; preformulation; liquid and lyophilized formulation development; biophysical characterization and accelerated and cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) stability testing services on a contract basis for recombinant proteins and small molecule drugs,” KBI said in a statement.

The company plans to offer additional facilities and services later this year.
