Mi-Co was among the 60 global data capture companies presenting at a technology conference in Sweden last week, discussing its project with the Boston Public Health Commission.

Mi-Co is working with Anoto Group AB to implement a diverse mobile data solution for Boston’s bably and healthy child program.

The event was hosted by Anoto Group AB, a Swedish company focused on transmission of handwritten text from paper to digital media and of scanning printed text. Mi-Co is a partner with Anoto.

“The quick and secure processing of client data and the accurate and efficient reporting of information are two of the critical challenges we face in our home-visiting programs,” said Claritza Abreu, director of information systems services for the Boston Public Health Commission. “The quick and secure processing of client data and the accurate and efficient reporting of information are two of the critical challenges we face in our home-visiting programs. We feel an assessment of state-of-the-art digital writing technology is warranted and this new technology will give our staff more time to focus on patient care, instead of data entry.”
