Wehkamp, a Dutch retailer with more than $500 million in annual sales, has selected Marketing Automation software from SAS.

The company will use the software to handle customer data from its web shopping network.

Wehkamp said it will use the SAS application initially in its marketing intelligence and credit management groups. The software will enable Wehkamp to build a data warehouse for better understanding customer behavior as well as e-mail marketing and fraud detection.
