IBM is trying to get a U.S. Federal district court to dismiss the copyright infringement suit filed against it by SCO group, NewsFactor reports.

In its latest court filing last week, IBM asked for a “partial summary judgment.” SCO says IBM copied Unix code illegally for use in Linux. IBM said seven months have passed since SCO was asked to identify the lines of code that had been copied.
