NORCROSS,Dr. Nino De Chirico has been promoted to chief executive officer at Immucor, a provider of technology for the blood transfusion industry.
He joined the company as president and chief operating officer last year.
Edward Gallup remains the company’s chairman.
“In the short time since his promotion to president and COO, Nino has implemented his plans to improve company efficiency through manufacturing consolidation and the deletion of redundant products, many of which were manufactured in three separate facilities,” Gallup said.
