Pete Ritcher is the new chief financial officer at Cingular, replacing Rick Linder who was named CFO of SBC Communications a week ago.
SBC and BellSouth operate Cingular.
Richter was vice president of corporate finance at SBC. He joined SBC in 1987 as tax compliance manager.
