Mapics, a provider of manufacturing solutions software, signed 52 new customers and finished its second fiscal quarter in the black, the company said Thursday.

Mapics (Nasdaq: MAPX) reported a 34 percent increase in license contract values to $11.3 million, and a 16 percent increase in services revenues to $32.3 million. Overall, the company said it earned 8 cents a share, or $2.1 million, compared to a $1.5 million loss in 2003.
