Walt Chantlos, director of market development at wireless systems integrator USAT Corp. will be a featured speaker at the annual conference of the Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA).

The GITA conference will be held in Seattle at the State of Washington Convention Center through Wednesday.

Chantlos will be representing USAT on a panel of Field Force Automation experts. The seminar will focus on the laying the groundwork to ensure a successful mobile implementation for large field force automation projects.

Discussions will encompass hardware, software, and GPS developments; integration to back-office systems; managing communications and data flows between the field and office; deployment strategies; and gaining user acceptance.

Based in Chapel Hill, USAT has solutions that integrate wireless data service, GPS, mobile computers and handhelds, and select software applications.
