CHARLOTTE–Peak 10, Venetica, Rollover Systems and Mobile Hwy joined such stalwarts of the Charlotte business scene as Bank of America and National Gypsum as winners of the Charlotte Chamber’s Blue Diamond information technology awards Tuesday night.

The Charlotte Chamber Information Technology Charlotte council’s Blue Diamond Awards recognize winners for ten technology-based awards.

More than 30 Charlotte-based companies were recognized in the 10 award categories during the 16th annual ceremony.

The winners were chosen from a diverse field of companies and organizations across Charlotte’s rich industry base. The award topics span the use and development of technology as well as the commitment to its growth in the community and in all types of business cultures.

Corporate winners:


  • Mecklenburg County’s Polaris (Property Ownership Land Records Information System) – Best corporate use of information technology (IT).
  • National Gypsum’s Customer Service Portal – Best corporate use of IT for customer service.
  • Premier,Inc. – Perspective Online – Best corporate IT product.
  • Bank of America’s support of iTCharlotte’s Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Systems’ eLearning Initiative – Joanna R. Baker corporae community leadership.

Traditional Cut Awards:

  • MobileHWY’s Internet and mobile solution the construction industry and local building departments – Best use of IT.
  • Preferred Parking’s CyberPark solution – Best use of IT for customer service.
  • Venetica’s VeniceBridge software – Best IT product.
  • HR America’s assistance to local non-profits with human resources and technology – Best community contributor.
  • Rollover Systems’ web-enabled 401(k) management solution – Diamond in the Rough award.
  • Peak 10 – Data Center – Top growth company.
