Servigistics, a provider of service parts management solutions, has established the company’s Asia-Pacific (APAC) headquarters in Tokyo, to be led by Hiroshi Shimizu as general manager.

Shimizu, an enterprise and supply chain software industry veteran, will be responsible for all sales, marketing, services, and partner relationships within the region for Atlanta-based Servigistics.

The company says the opening of this office reflects the importance of APAC in serving the needs of the company’s growing, global client base, and builds on the continued expansion of Servigistics operations in the Americas and Europe.

“The creation of our APAC headquarters demonstrates our strong commitment to better serve our rapidly growing client base, and will enable us to more effectively capitalize on global market opportunities,” said Servigistics CEO Eric Hinkle. “Building on our already strong relationships with clients such as Toshiba Medical and others with large APAC operations, this expansion, under the capable leadership of Hiroshi Shimizu, provides the foundation for further success with clients and prospective clients in the region.”
