Cingular Wireless recently promoted Clifford Minor to the role of vice president and general manager of its Georgia market.
In his new role, Minor will oversee all wireless sales and operations in Georgia for Cingular Wireless, which is based in Atlanta.
Minor previously served as Cingular’s executive director of affiliate sales, responsible for product bundling, integration initiatives and sales programs with parent companies BellSouth and SBC. He also served as VP and GM of Cingular in Ohio.
Before joining Cingular in 1997, Minor spent 13 years serving in a variety of sales and operation roles with the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.
“With Cliff’s 19 years of sales and operations experience, he has proven his ability to drive growth and to execute strategically,” states Steve Sitton, president of Cingular’s East Region. “We are thrilled to have his valuable expertise in Georgia to build upon our momentum, expand our service offerings for customers in the region and execute our local initiatives.”
