The Southeast region of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC) is hosting the US-Israel Software Business Exchange from March 30 to April 1.

The Software Business Exchange introduces Israeli software companies to U.S. businesses with the objective of growing relationships and developing strategic alliances.

Fifteen Israeli software companies are being selected to present their capabilities in Security, Logistics/Transportation, and Wireless Communications technologies at this year’s event.

“The Software Business Exchange introduces Israel- and US- based firms, with the goal of facilitating partnerships, customers and investors,” said Tom Glaser, president of the AICC Southeast Region. “We again have an impressive list of event sponsors and are excited by the potential this meeting delivers for all participants.”

The major focus will be one-on-one meetings, but panel sessions, including a program on “How to do Business with Microsoft” and opportunities for networking, will also take place.

The event will take place at the Atlanta offices of Hewlett Packard, the event’s host. In addition to HP, other U.S. technology sponsors include ISS, Microsoft, and BellSouth. A number of other companies have committed to participation including UPS, Manhattan Associates, Indus, and IBM. Organizational co-sponsors include the Southeastern Software Association, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Wireless Technology Forum, and AeA.

For companies interested in attending this year’s event, the cost is $295 for the first person ($250 if paid by March 1), with $100 for each additional person. For more information, visit www.usisraelexchange.com .
