Concurrent Computer Corp. (Nasdaq: CCUR) has promoted Mike Tudisco to the newly created position of vice president of operations for the Video-On-Demand (VOD) Division.
In his new role at Concurrent, Tudisco is responsible for all aspects of customer support and project execution. This includes the technical support center, field service engineering, and program and project management, as well as project engineering.
“As a leading VOD organization, we are continually looking for ways to improve operations and exceed the needs and technological expectations of our customers,” said Concurrent’s VOD Division President Steve Necessary, to whom Tudisco will report. “Concurrent’s commitment to customer service has always set us apart from the competition, and with this newly created position, we’re extending and improving on that focus. Mike has proven to be a very valuable asset to Concurrent, and I am pleased to welcome him and congratulate him in this new role.”
Tudisco joined Concurrent’s VOD Division in May of 2000 as a program manager and assisted with the launch of many of its VOD deployments on the Motorola digital platform. His experience in this area led to his promotion to director of digital launches, where he was responsible for the program management and project engineering groups within the company. Tudisco also led product management for Concurrent’s VOD Division.
Prior to joining Concurrent, Tudisco had 24 years experience in the process control industry with Moore Process Automation Solutions in Spring House, PA, where he held several management and technical leadership positions in marketing, product management and technical sales support.
