Mobile Reach International says SmartVista Technologies, a mobile content and e-learning software company, has joined the its alliance program.

The agreement gives SmartVista customers access to Mobile Reach’s mobile integration solutions, as well as a portfolio of technology products and services.

SmartVista, based in Research Triangle Park, designs and develops custom user content with an emphasis on supporting mobile corporate employees. Its programs are used for mobile e-learning, employee and market assessment, and field force automation.

“Over 60 percent of the U.S. workforce is already mobile, and that number is growing,” commented Carrie Reuben, chief executive officer of SmartVista. “But many companies don’t have the infrastructure to support their mobile employees. The Mobile Reach partnership provides us with the hardware and services we need to deliver our content to anyone, anytime, anywhere.”

Mobile Reach’s technology services include mobile assessment and consulting, computer and communications hardware, telecom services, and installation and support.

“E-learning is a critical piece of the puzzle for efficiency and business process improvement,” said Mobile Reach CEO Michael Hewitt. “When you are trying to accomplish true knowledge transfer via training, stakeholders must explore all mediums in order to reach their students. Training at the ‘Point of Action’ is not only useful, it provides better metrics for retention.”
