Data center solutions provider Peak 10 has added Global Knowledge, an IT education and learning firm, to its portfolio of customers.

Peak 10 will provide Cary-based Global Knowledge with a long-term, secure hosting and management solution for its Enterprise Learning Management Solution based on Oracle’s iLearning LMS, out of its facility in Raleigh.

“Peak 10 provides the ideal environment and expertise to host and manage mission-critical applications,” said David Jones, president and chief executive officer for Peak 10. “Our redundant infrastructure and technical expertise enables organizations like Global Knowledge to ensure the availability of business applications without driving-up the total cost of ownership.”

Founded in 1995, Global Knowledge offers IT education and enterprise training solutions with more than 700 courses in 20 countries and in 13 languages. Its Oracle-based LMS lets customers tailor a blended learning program with various instructor-led, e-learning and collaborative learning options.

“Global Knowledge has been successfully delivering enterprise-learning solutions powered by an Oracle Web-based learning management solution (LMS) to worldwide customers for almost two years,” said Michael Fox, the company’s senior vice president of worldwide products and services. “With ever increasing interest in our integrated learning services platform, we determined that Peak 10’s reliable and scalable hosting would ensure the quality levels of infrastructure and redundancy that our customers deserve.”

In addition to Raleigh, Peak 10 has three other data centers located in Charlotte, Tampa and Jacksonville, FL, with each facility designed to deliver infrastructure, security and performance. The company implements and manages its customer support and engineering programs on a facility level, enabling the company to address any problems locally and provide multiple levels of security, power, fire suppression, and monitoring.
