KERNERSVILLE,Entrepreneurs are running out of time to enter the annual business plan competition known as “Fuel”, which is put on by the Triad Entrepreneurial Initiative.

The deadline to enter is March 21.

Six companies will win $80,000 in cash plus mentoring services and training. The competition includes three different phases.
Prizes include:

  • $50,000, plus mentoring, 12 months incubator space and training

  • $20,000, plus mentoring, 12 months incubator space and training

  • $10,000, plus mentoring, six months incubator space and training

  • Mentoring, plus six months incubator space and training

  • (2) mentoring and training
  • The competition is open to entrepreneurs who live in 12 counties: Alamance, Caswell, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin.

    Winners will be announced on May 13.

    The Triad Entrepreneurial Initiative (TEI) was created in 2001.
