Beacon Software, a developer of in-house Internet banking applications for community financial institutions, has reached an agreement with Gladiator Technology Services to help protect banks.

The companies will offer security monitoring and consulting services to community banks using Beacon’s Compass Internet Banking Platform. Gladiator provides IT vulnerability assessments, monitoring and reporting of firewalls and servers, and network and Internet policy development.

“In servicing more than 250 customers nationwide, Gladiator has grown an extensive knowledge base of regulatory requirements and future expectations when it comes to IT assessments,” said Danny Johnston, president and CEO of Roswell, GA-based Gladiator. “The partnership with Beacon combines Internet banking expertise with our 24/7 service, enabling financial institutions to make solid decisions about securely delivering and safeguarding their customers’ banking information.”

Gladiator helps protect financial institution’s information systems and customer information in adherence with the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council’s (FFIEC) regulatory standards.

Customers of Atlanta-based Beacon using its Compass Platform will now be able to monitor and report on intrusions and anomalies throughout their Internet banking system, while maintaining regulatory compliance.
