RALEIGH–Sport Illustrated Swimsuit 2004 will be availabale to cell phone users in a screen saver and wallpaper application powered by Summus Inc. (OTC:SUMU) product, BlueFuel.

Summus, Raleigh-based developer of software for wireless multimedia, says it will be the exclusive U.S. and Canadian provider of cell phone screen saver and wallpaper pictures from the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit collection.

Summus says it has commitments from major wireless carriers, worldwide, to distribute and promote applications and services that bring content from Sports Illustrated’s extensive collection of swimsuit model photographs to over 100 million cell phone users.

The first application, Sports Illustrated(R) Swimsuit 2004, powered by BlueFuel(TM), has been submitted for wireless carrier certification and will debut in March. The launch of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2004 coincides with the publication of the 40th Anniversary of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

“The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue is the most widely read single issue of any magazine in the world with more than 55 million U.S. adults having read the 2003 edition, the magazine says.
