Geomagic Studio and Qualify from Raindrop Geomagic have been selected as two of the top software products of 2003 by IEEE Computer Graphics & Applications (CG&A).

Geomagic Studio is used by manufacturers for mass production of customized devices, build-to-order manufacturing, and automatic re-creation of physical parts and molds.

Qualify allows manufacturers to compare 3D scan data of a built part with the original computer-aided design model. It is used by manufacturers such as Square D and BMW for first-article inspection and parts verification.

“It’s an honor to receive recognition for two products in the same year from such a prestigious publication,” says Ping Fu, president and chief executive officer of Raindrop Geomagic. “IEEE CG&A is read by computer graphics professionals in every field throughout the world.”

IEEE CG&A is a specialty publication of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a non-profit, technical professional association with more than 350,000 individual members in 150 countries.
