The Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA) has announced that Technology Roadmap, Business Ecosystem and Market Opportunities are the focus of this year’s CTIA Wireless 2004 Educational Sessions.
Three days of in-depth sessions, from March 22-24 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, will address topics facing wireless engineers, executives, business development professionals, and marketing and sales professionals.
“We’ve collected an all-star roster of speakers to tackle the most complex and exciting issues facing our industry,” said Steve Largent, president and CEO of CTIA. “These sessions are invaluable for industry insiders to share new ideas, to work through challenges, and to seize opportunities that will benefit their businesses and collectively propel the wireless industry forward.”
Former FCC Chairman Reed Hundt and Internet pioneer Robert Metcalfe will be on hand to offer their historic insights, as well representatives from companies like Apple, Yahoo!, MTV Networks, Computer Associates and Microsoft.
Topics covered include an exploration of new network technologies, device capabilities, entertainment and enterprise content and the affects of Local Number Portability.
Also this year, CTIA’s Educational Sessions feature Plenary Sessions…roundtable panels with executives of industry companies…augmented by afternoon breakout sessions.
