The Personal Computer Club of Charlotte will begin an ongoing community service project at the club’s general meeting on Feb. 12.
Members will be disassembling, cleaning, reformatting and upgrading a number of surplus computers donated to the club by local companies. Once the refurbished PCs are properly prepared they will be donated to those in need directly by the club or through other community service organizations.
The meeting will be held at the Piedmont Natural Gas building on Rexford Road in Charlotte and run from 7-9pm.
