PITTSBORO,Active Living by Design, a national program from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and affiliated withb the UNC School of Public Health at Chapel Hill, will work with Blast Internet Services to develop a new web site.

The group has awarded 25 grants to partnerships representing communities that will work to improve design, transportation and public policy and thus encourage a more active lifestyle.

The Chapel Hill project is featured in Southern Village near Chapel Hill.

Part of the projects is a web site that will be used as a way to communicate news, survey participants, and build a learning network. Blast Internet Services said it would design the group’s web site and launch it this spring.
