BURLINGTON–Tripath Imaging (Nasdaq:TPTH) reports a net loss of $1.9 million or 5 cents a share for the fourth quarter 2003, a 37 percent improvement over its net loss of $3.1 million or 8 cents a share in the same period 2002.
TriPath says its fourth quarter revenue rose to $15.3 million, a 39 percent jump from the same period 2002.
Revenues for the year ended December 31, 2003 increased 43 percent to $53.8 million from $37.5 million for the year ended December 31, 2002.
Gross profit for 2003 increased 57 percent to $35.4 million, or 66 percent of sales, compared with $22.6 million, or 60 percent of sales for 2002. The Company reported a net loss of $8.5 million, or 23 cents a share in 2003, compared to a net loss of $18.1 million, or 48 cents a share, for 2002.
