INC Research has named Scott Williams as director of medical oncology in its specialized INC Oncology division.
In his position, Williams will be responsible for all aspects of its global clinical operations as well as providing medical consultation and therapeutic expertise throughout the development process.
Williams joins INC Research from his most recent role as medical director within a contract research organization, where he developed and directed overall clinical strategies and study safety management for numerous oncology programs, as well as providing medical oversight to clients and project teams.
Prior to his industry career, Williams served as director of the High Risk Breast Cancer Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh, which he established as one of the first multidisciplinary breast cancer clinics in the nation. He also served as professor of surgery at the university’s medical school.
