The National Account Service Company (NASCO) has agreed to purchase the MetaVance Membership and Billing System from EDS to support health care administration for its more than 7 million members.

Based in Atlanta, NASCO will install and configure EDS’ MetaVance enterprise application system for its Blue Cross & Blue Shield customer base.

“NASCO chose EDS’ MetaVance system over other competitors because it is the only product on the market today that can support our various business models,” said Jinelle Rudder, director of NASCO Processing System, which led the system evaluation and selection. “MetaVance’s architecture, scalability, business-rich functionality, and ease of end-user business rules configuration will enable us to support millions of covered lives.”
