North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will dedicate a new Nanotechnology center today at NCSU’s Centennial Campus.

The facility is known as the Triangle National Lithography Center.
Students from both universities will be able to attend classes and do research at the facility, which will focus on creation of nanotech devices. Nanometers are one-billionth of a meter long.

Highlight of the center is a $12 million nanofabrication device known as a lithography stepper.

The dedication will take place at 2 PM.
