Internap Network Services Corporation, a provider of performance-based routing services over the Internet, has landed a contract with Fast Search & Transfer (FAST), a developer of enterprise web search and real-time alerting technologies.
FAST selected Internap to support its enterprise search business in North America with a solution of managed IP, security and colocation services.
Internap is providing a gigabit Ethernet connection from its Private Network Access Point in Boston. FAST will co-locate enterprise search applications with Internap.
Additionally, Internap is supplying FAST with managed security services, including firewall and intrusion detection systems.
