The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Carolinas will hold their postponed meeting on “Outsourcing — Savior of Western Society or Threat?” on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
At the meeting will be Max Wallace, president of the Arbor Group and former CEO of Cogent Neuroscience. Wallace and TiE Carolinas President Swadesh Chatterjee recently returned from a trip to India in which they met industry and political leaders, and toured top facilities. The three speakers will discuss a range of issues related to outsourcing, such as the downsides and risks, the economic impact, and job losses vs. opportunity.
The TiE Carolinas meeting will be held at the club house of the Briar Creek Country Club in Raleigh. It will begin at 6 PM and last until 9:30 PM. Cost is $15 for members and $30 for non-members. Register online.
