EarthLink will now deploy wired and wireless home networking products from Linksys, a division of Cisco Systems, to its high-speed Internet subscribers.
“EarthLink focuses on delivering the tools and services that enable consumers to take advantage of an always-on high-speed connection,” said Erika Jolly, vice president of strategic brand management at EarthLink. “–Our new agreement with Linksys allows us to offer customers a full line of home networking products that make high-speed applications easy to use and affordable.”
For a limited time, EarthLink will initially offer at no additional cost, a Linksys Wireless-B router valued at up to $79.95 to customers that sign up for EarthLink Home Networking service.
EarthLink Home Networking customers can also purchase the Linksys Wireless-B Game adapter for $79.95 that provides Xbox, GameCube or PlayStation 2 game console users the ability to connect to the Internet to play games online wirelessly.
