IBM has acquired Green Pasture Software, a provider of document management software.

Green Pasture is a privately held company based in Corvallis, OR. Financial details were not disclosed.

The company’s operations will be integrated into IBM’s Enterprise Content Management business and Green Pasture products will be available immediately from IBM.

IBM says the acquisition further extends its enterprise content management services, a segment of its DB2 Information Management portfolio.

It marks IBM’s third acquisition in its Enterprise Content Management business since 2002. Big Blue purchased Tarian’s records management software in November 2002 and Aptrix’s Web content management software this past July.
