Castle Worldwide has completed a new $1.2 million online application and registration system for the Washington Board of Accountancy (WBOA).

Beginning in April 2004, state boards of accountancy in Washington will begin administering a new computerized version of the Uniform CPA Examination.

The computerized system adapts to future changes in eligibility requirements and allows information to be passed on to WBOA members.

“Each state is experiencing challenges through this transition to computer-based testing,” said Scott Greene, vice president of operations and test administration for Castle. “Our IT department has taken the initiative to stay current with all of the technical and data requirements for Washington’s Uniform CPA Examination, and it is also working ahead so that CPAs in that state are prepared the minute the national system is complete and live.”
