Chris DiPierro, HL7 project director for Mi-Co, has successfully completed all requirements of the Health Level Seven (HL7) Control Certification Program and Test.
In doing so, DiPierro has attained the distinction of being certified as an HL7 V2.4 control specialist for Mi-Co, a mobile data capture company based in RTP.
As part of the certification program, DiPierro completed three courses on HL7, including a course on Version 2 implementation control review and another course on implementation using the messaging workbench tool.
The certification courses were held in Las Vegas, NV from Nov. 11-12 and conducted by the Education Committee of the HL7 board of directors.
