TigerDirect has opened an outlet store here at 3131 Capital Boulevard, the latest in the company’s recent string of openings.
TigerDirect has maintained a full-service business-to-business sales office in Raleigh since 1994, currently employing approximately 50 employees.
“The Raleigh marketplace needed a ‘shot in the arm’ with respect to computer products,” says Joseph Dunne, chief financial officer of TigerDirect. “Every town has the super stores. We are now open to bring the consumers super values.”
Dunne oversees the three TigerDirect Outlet Centers in Raleigh, Miami, and Naperville, IL, with several more under consideration.
The store in Miami, where TigerDirect is based, is currently relocating to space five times the previous size to accommodate the large amount of traffic the store has experienced.
“We hope to bring values that can’t be found anywhere else,” adds Dunne. “TigerDirect may be known for the best value everyday, but now with increased local presence, consumers can touch and feel the savings in their hometown.”
