Web-based software company Buoy5 has entered an alliance with Dutch information management software provider Mavim B.V. to help customers achieve compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
The companies say their integrated solution enables customers to align people, processes and technology, giving them the ability to comply with the government regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley. It provides a central repository for describing, executing and auditing internal control management.
“The requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and other corporate regulation reporting requirements have left businesses seeking comprehensive solutions to drive accountability and considerably reduce the pain and cost of compliance,” said Buoy5 Director Collin Lewis. “What companies need are both proven methodologies and technology, the exact combination that Buoy5 and Mavim provide.”
Buoy5 says it will be hosting online seminars to discuss how Sarbanes-Oxley rules will impact on organizations, and how companies can meet the requirements with confidence.
The seminars, titled “Sarbanes Oxley: Reducing the cost of compliance,” will take place beginning on Dec. 9.
