Equifax, a provider of commerce security solutions for consumers and businesses, has phased out its chief operating officer position as part of a reorganization.

The company has formed six business units, the heads of which will report directly to Thomas Chapman, chairman and chief executive officer. Mark Miller, the COO, “has left the company to pursue other opportunities,” Equifax said in a statement.

The six business units are: North America; Latin America; Europe; Consumer Direct; Predictive Services; and Direct Marketing.
