SPX Subsidiary Wins $62M in Patent Suit Against Microsoft

Imagexpo LLC, a subsidiary of Charlotte-based SPX, has been awarded $62.3 million in damages as part of a patent suit against Microsoft.

Imagexpo filed suit in October of last year, alleging that Microsoft violated a patent regarding real-time conferencing as part of Microsoft’s NetMeeting Whiteboard application.

Imagexpo won the suit in a jury trial in US District Court in Virginia.
